Rubble

Chris and his dad knocked down the first part of the extension last weekend when I was camping in the woods. It produced a lot of rubble. A LOT. The whole of our back garden disappeared under a layer of broken brick. Then followed lots of hours of driving our wheelbarrow back and forwards from the back garden to the skip out the front.

Cuts and grazes on our arms.

Crashes and bangs as bricks bounce into the skip.

Taking the house back to its original shape before we build it up to its new incarnation. More rubble to come, the kitchen extension is coming down next…
